Board of Appeals continues McGurty residence hearing to May 19
Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 16, 2026
Milton Board of Appeals defers hearing on McGurty vertical-addition proposal to May 19. Chair Kathleen O'Donnell and Members Jeffrey Mullan and Theodore E Daiber heard the application for a 27-by-43-foot second-floor addition at 42 Central Avenue, which applicant Jennifer Anne McGurty said would provide space for family expansion and aging parents. Five neighbors submitted letters of support; residents of the adjacent 36 Central Avenue condominium opposed, citing concerns about height, mass, loss of view and light, and privacy impacts.
The board unanimously voted to continue the hearing.
