Climate Action Planning Committee · Meeting of June 18, 2026

Milton's Climate Action Planning Committee forwarded reappointments for the 2026-2027 term to the Select Board, with three members departing and two associate members advancing to voting seats. Departing are founding member Ron Israel, Matt Panucci, who directed wildfire planning, and S. Kyle Johnson.

Associate members Anna Morgan-Barsamian and J. Hale Smith moved to voting seats; new member Sharese "Stevie" Caldwell, appointed by the School Committee, joined. The Committee's Climate Leader Community application is pending only School Superintendent signature before its June 30 submission deadline; approval would raise Milton from Green Community to Climate Leader status and unlock funding up to approximately 1 million dollars for technical design and implementation.
