MILTON — Community Preservation Committee hears confirmation of $2.99 million in Town Meeting approvals. Chair Tom Callahan reported that three warrant articles passed at recent Town Meeting: Article 30 appropriating $1,186,550 in FY27 funds (passed nearly unanimously), Article 31 approving 11 projects totaling $1,051,823 (also nearly unanimous), and Article 32 authorizing a $750,000 CPA bond for Wharf Park renovation (required explanation but secured two-thirds majority). The committee's fifth funding cycle opened with 22 eligibility proposals requesting $6 million total; five applicants presented projects ranging from playground improvements to historic preservation and housing authority work.
