MILTON — Council on Aging approves January meeting minutes and treasurer report totaling $409,663.84 in combined accounts. Director Christine Stanton announced a $5,500 grant from the Milton Women's Club for weight room equipment and the hiring of part-time administrator Paula Murley starting within two weeks. The Council has exceeded 4,000 members with 41 new additions in January, and the transportation program recorded 398 unique users.
A bylaws working group identified governance compliance issues requiring comprehensive review of 25-year-old bylaws, with officer elections scheduled for May.
