Milton climate committee plans educational meetings on sustainability. The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources approved the town's Climate Leader Community Certification application, opening technical assistance for the Municipal Decarbonization Roadmap, Chair Dr. Alexander Hasha reported from Energy Manager Kai Mueller.

The committee is coordinating EV charging installations at Town Hall and the Council on Aging and an energy storage feasibility study application. Working groups are pursuing waste contamination reduction, buildings energy retrofits, transportation electrification, and conservation initiatives over six months.
