Milton Housing Authority approves warrant and certifies year-end finances

Milton Housing Authority unanimously approved Warrant No. 12-2025 totaling $462,532.53 and certified its fiscal 2025 year-end financials at its February 3 meeting. Chair Robert Powers, Jr., and Executive Director Earl Fay reported that Section 4001 reserves improved dramatically from 19 percent in FY24 to 42 percent in FY25, prompting the fee accountant to express caution about the Section 8/Mainstream reserve level and recommend reducing the MRVP reserve over time. The board approved the Tenant Selection and Parking policies, revoked four others, and unanimously certified compliance with all federal and state lead paint laws.
A tenant delinquency judgment of $39,914 has been structured with $21,001 collected in January and monthly installments beginning in March.
