Milton Select Board approves 32 warrant articles for annual town meeting. The board voted unanimously to advance appropriations for schools, public safety, water and sewer systems, and three renewable energy projects at the Fire Headquarters, Town Hall, Public Library, and Animal Shelter. The board also approved comment letter on the 648-652 Canton Avenue 40B project highlighting concerns about traffic and stormwater while supporting increased affordable units from 29 to 74.
Town Administrator Nicholas Milano reported resignation of Veterans Service Director Alex Ortiz and noted DPW Director Marina Fernandes is departing with Tom McCarthy assuming the role.
