Select Board approves liquor license, defers AT&T small cell hearing to June 9

Select Board · Meeting of May 26, 2026

Milton Select Board approves liquor license for new grocer; defers AT&T small cell hearing. Chair Winston Daley led a 5-0 vote to grant a retail package store license to Two Pence Market LLC, a neighborhood grocer opening this summer at 2 Eliot Street and offering off-premise wine, spirits, and beer sales. The Board also voted unanimously to continue the public hearing on ten proposed AT&T small wireless facilities to June 9, giving town counsel time to review the applications across ten Milton locations.

Town Administrator Nicholas Milano briefed the Board on Labouré College's August closure and the town's potential acquisition of the campus; the Board unanimously agreed to proceed with an appraisal. MassDOT confirmed the Randolph Avenue and Route 28 road diet pilot is a success and will remain permanent, with median flex posts being removed to create a two-way turning lane.
