MILTON — Select Board readies final Town Meeting articles ahead of May 12-13 vote. Town Administrator Nicholas Milano and Town Counsel Daren Klein presented Articles 34-42, with the board approving a Town Counsel recommendation to correct Article 35 relating to property tax exemptions for veterans, blind persons, and seniors before the assembly votes. Town Counsel noted that the June 2025 Town Meeting had already approved veteran exemptions, making one section of the article unnecessary.
The Warrant Committee voted to support the proposed change. Five articles authorizing solar energy and storage installations at municipal facilities will each receive individual votes.
