Trust funds $7,500 toward new Housing Production Plan update
Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of January 20, 2026
Milton Affordable Housing Trust approves $7,500 contribution to Housing Production Plan. The board voted 8-0-1 to fund one-third of the $22,000 cost of updating the town's expired Housing Production Plan, to be prepared by consultant Karen Sunnaborg, contingent on securing one-third representation on the working committee drafting the plan. The updated plan will require approval from the Select Board and Planning Board before submission to the state's Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities.
Chair Julie Creamer also reported that construction of the Truslow Residences affordable development is nearing completion with a lottery for units beginning, and that the Winter Valley II project is finalizing HUD financing and expects to close within days.
