Other Committee · Meeting of June 16, 2026

Milton Cemetery Trustees elected Joseph Reardon as the board's new chair and renewed Superintendent Lisa O'Hearn's contract at their June 16 meeting. Trustees also extended an eviction deadline for tenants of a town-owned rental property to July 31, after their lease expired May 31; if the tenants remain past that date, the case moves to Town Counsel and possibly court. The board agreed, without a formal vote, to let a resident recess a monument base to meet size restrictions unchanged "since 2004," addressing a Garden of Hope plot owner's concern that rules had been altered since purchase.

All votes, including the consent agenda and May 5 minutes, passed unanimously by voice vote.
