Milton Cemetery Trustees finalized plans for the May 16 Flags-In event and this year's Memorial Day ceremony. Trustees heard from program coordinator Cody Case that the Massachusetts Department of the American Legion's incoming state commander, Robert Jerdan, will deliver the keynote address, and discussed restoring a marching band procession dropped last year after parent complaints. Case said he would follow up with DPW's Tom McCarthy about faulty ceremony speakers, saying "no one can hear us." Trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda and prior meeting's minutes.

Separately, they learned two underground water pipe breaks have been repaired, though officials warned the cemetery's piping is deteriorating, and that a new building heater cost "just under ten thousand dollars" after the old unit failed at 20 years old.
