Milton's Zoning Board of Appeals continued a contested deck hearing to June 11, awaiting a Conservation Commission ruling. Chair Kathleen O'Donnell-Mee led the panel with members Jeff Mullen and Ted Daber reviewing a special permit request for 27 Brook Hill Road, where attorney Mary McEtrick said a redesigned deck and staircase would add less than 20 square feet while sitting 5.2 feet from a side lot line, against a 10-foot requirement. A member said the board had asked for three things at the prior hearing, including a conservation ruling, "none of which we got." Abutter Annie Levine objected that the design pushes visual bulk toward her kitchen window, while neighbor Scott Sinclair called the renovated property a former "eyesore" now improved.
Applicant Kevin Robinson said a Conservation Commission site visit was set for that Saturday at 10 a.m.
