Capital committee reviews $5.1M capital budget proposal

Milton capital committee formally reviews $5.146M in proposed bonded and non-bonded capital spending. Town Administrator Nicholas Milano presented the fiscal 2027-2031 recommendation totaling $1.201 million in Free-Cash-funded non-bonded capital and $3.945 million in bonded capital, but no vote was taken. The committee discussed Milano's recommendation that projects eligible for Community Preservation Committee funding apply to the CPC first, with the capital budget serving as supplemental funding if the CPC declines.

Parks Commissioners withdrew field-project requests pending completion of the Recreation Facilities Master Plan.
