School Committee · Meeting of April 15, 2026

MILTON — The Milton School Committee's Finance Subcommittee reworked a 25-slide Town Meeting budget presentation and sorted out reserve fund policy questions ahead of a May 6 vote. Members debated cutting the deck to roughly 15 slides so it runs under 10 minutes, with Lizzie urging the group to "encourage the tightness of the presentation." The panel is still awaiting word from Town Administrator Nick and town officials Winston and Megan on whether special education reserve fund transfers require Town Meeting approval. A circuit breaker policy and the reserve fund policy both head to the full School Committee April 29 for a second reading.

The subcommittee closed by voting 3-0 to approve a backlog of its own meeting minutes.
