The Milton Budget Coordination Committee unanimously adopted a new budget development calendar for the coming fiscal year.
Other Committee · Meeting of June 8, 2026
MILTON — The Milton Budget Coordination Committee unanimously adopted a new budget development calendar for the coming fiscal year. Town Administrator Milano told members the state's pending supplemental budget includes $100 million statewide for snow and ice removal, with Milton's share from the road-mileage formula estimated at about $250,000. A member credited a colleague identified only as Laroy with assembling the calendar after "multiple iterations," calling it "a very helpful document going into next year." The committee postponed reviewing its own internal self-assessment survey because eight of its 15 members had not yet responded.
Members also discussed shifting away from 8 a.m. Monday meetings toward evenings and confirmed the committee, originally set up for one year, believes it already voted to continue, pending a check-in with the Select Board chair.
