Milton conservation board fines absent wetlands violator $300

Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 10, 2026

Milton Conservation Commission fines absent Riverside Avenue owner $300, advances Randolph Avenue drainage review. Chair John Kiernan led a 5-0 vote to record an enforcement order and a $300 fine against the owner of 45 Riverside Avenue, who has missed three straight hearings over unpermitted construction and wetlands cutting, saying it "might be enough of an incentive to come in." The commission also approved, 6-0, a negative determination for a second-story addition at 42 Central Avenue and a certificate of compliance for a septic upgrade at 702 Blue Hill Avenue. Engineer Nate Goschgarian of LEC Environmental Consultants presented a new house proposed off Randolph Avenue, where Kiernan raised concerns about drainage capacity shared with a nearby 40B project; the commission set a tentative site walk for April 4 and continued the matter to March 10.

A notice of intent for 1386 Canton Avenue was continued again after no presenter appeared for the third time.
